Yahya Ghaznavi is a turnaround specialist and commercial generalist with 17+ years of experience in blue-chip companies with the last 8 years in-country leadership roles and the last 5 years in regional leadership roles with P&L responsibility. He specializes in rapidly scaling businesses and has expertise in marketing, product development, e-commerce, manufacturing, and P&L management. He has launched successful products and businesses in the Banking, Technology, Consulting, Pharma, FMCG, and Health sectors.
Dr. Asim Imdad
Chief Innovation Officer
Dr. Asim Imdad is a tech entrepreneur and academician with a Ph.D. in AI and 15+ years of industry and academia experience across three continents. He solved supply chain management problems and cancer detection at NIST, USA, and developed the first tax evasion detection system at SRB. Dr. Imdad focuses on health informatics, algorithmic trading, video analytics, and fintech at AKS iQ using AI and machine learning. He has authored over 40 tech publications and is an expert in machine learning, computer vision, and quantum computing.
Omer Manya
Chief Digital Officer
Omer Manya, our Chief Digital Officer, has extensive experience in the R&D of cellular technologies and leading engineering teams from his previous assignments at Motorola in the US and Asia. He also served as the Director of IT at the Aga Khan University and Hospitals, guiding the organization through a digital transformation. Omer's expertise in data science is comprehensive, encompassing the data maturity lifecycle, governance, security, analytics, business intelligence, and dashboarding, which he brings to AKS iQ. Omer holds a degree in Engineering and Computer Science from the US and is a certified Chief Healthcare Information Officer and qualified Chief Data Officer.

Imtiaz Ahmad Sheikh is a versatile IT leader with 40 years of experience with the Bank of Punjab, MCB Bank, NIB Bank, Askari Bank, Bank Alfalah & PICIC Commercial Bank. He has managed large tech teams, set up data centers, and developed, designed, acquired, implemented, and managed numerous best-of-the-breed technology platforms for Conventional, Islamic, Digital, and Branchless Banking. Imtiaz has a passion for introducing innovative banking products to improve customer service, meet regulatory requirements, and increase profitability. He has provided IT consultancy services to MCB Bank and has been nominated as Director 1 Link by five different banks.

His expertise encompasses commercial banking, core banking, business process re-engineering, and greenfield bank strategy. Khader has held management roles such as Head of Strategy, and Central Operations Head, while actively participating in executive banking committees. He is a proficient negotiator who excels in talent management, workforce analysis, and end-to-end process optimization.

Majid Waqar is a banking veteran with over 40 years of experience in Trade Operations, F.I.G Operations, and Branch Operations with major Local and International banks like ABN Amro Bank (formerly ABN Bank), American Express Bank, HSBC, Prime Commercial Bank, Summit Bank (formerly Arif Habib Bank), United Bank and JS Bank. As Country Head of Trade Services. He ensured compliance with regulatory requirements and international laws while proactively developing Standard Operating Procedures. Majid was nominated to various subcommittees of the Pakistan Banks Association during his tenure with Banks. He is passionate about improving banking processes and introducing innovative products to increase efficiency.
